The main purpose of this piece is to attach the differential of a Formula SAE prototype to its engine. CAD and CAE software like SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS were used in order to evaluate the stress concentration on the piece and get a functional and lightweight design. The piece was manufactured and tested in the prototype Formula SAE USB #115 with great success.
